The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sous Chef to join a market-leading contract caterer in a varied events catering role. Offering a 40-hour working week, the position is predominantly Monday to Friday, with mainly daytime hours, some evenings and occasional Saturdays, but no Sundays. Working closely with the Head Chef, you'll help deliver high-quality catering for a wide range of events, with excellent opportunities for career progression and a great work-life balance.
The Role
You'll be involved in the planning, preparation and delivery of a wide variety of events, producing high-quality food across a range of styles, including canapés, bowl food, finger food and event menus. With around 200 events to cater for, no two days will be quite the same.
Working alongside the Head Chef, you'll help ensure every event runs smoothly, maintaining excellent food standards, supporting the kitchen team and delivering consistently high-quality dishes.
About You
We're looking for a passionate and organised Sous Chef who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional food and service.
Ideally, you'll have experience within events catering, hotels, corporate hospitality or a similar high-volume operation. You'll be confident working to deadlines, managing multiple priorities and maintaining high standards across a varied events calendar.
