As a recruitment consultant, we are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing company based in the Batley / Birstall area. We are looking for an experienced Production Operative to join their Filling Department. This is a hands-on role involving the filling of paint tubs and operating production machinery within a fast-paced production environment.
Working Hours (Double Day Shifts)
- Early Shift: 5:50am - 2:00pm
- Late Shift: 1:50pm - 10:00pm
- Early finish on Fridays
Key Responsibilities
- Filling tubs of paint accurately and efficiently
- Operating and monitoring filling and production machinery
- Identifying and reporting any machine faults
- Completing basic machine cleaning and maintenance
- Maintaining high standards of quality and health & safety
- Keeping the work area clean and organised
Candidate Requirements
- Previous production or manufacturing experience is essential
- Strong transferable skills from similar environments
- Confident working with machinery
