Assets & Property Inspections Administrator
Field-based across Edinburgh & Fife | home office based in the Southside of Edinburgh
Full Time role | 35 hours per week | Monday to Friday
Temp role for a minimum of 2 to 3 months | potential for extension
Pay rate of up to £20.00 per hour + holiday pay & expenses
Search Consultancy are currently working exclusively with an Edinburgh based client in the housing services sector to recruit an experienced Assets or Property Inspector on a short-term temporary contract.
The successful candidate will be responsible for travelling to the client\’s properties, carrying out checks and associated administration ensuring that the information held on the company\’s system on each property is fully up to date.
PLEASE NOTE – in order to be considered for this role you MUST have a full driving license as well as your own transport for travelling to the properties. Expenses will be paid for all travel to & from properties.
Duties involved in this role will include:
* Travelling to properties & common areas under management of the business
* Carrying out checks to ensure that the information held on each property with regards to SHQS standards are fully accurate & up to date
* Noting any discrepancies & issues, raising with the appropriate team
* Carrying out all associated administration & data entry
In order to be considered for this role your skills and experience should include:
* Previous experience of housing checks, inspections or maintenance with a knowledge of Scottish Housing Quality Standards (SHQS) – this experience is ESSENTIAL
* A full driving license & your own transport – full expenses will be paid for all travel to & from properties
* Solid IT Skills including the full MS Office suite
