We are looking for an experienced and motivated Site Manager to join our team and take responsibility for the successful delivery of residential developments from construction through to completion. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Site Manager who takes pride in quality, enjoys leading a team, and is looking to build a long-term career with a forward-thinking house builder. As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the development, ensuring homes are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest possible standards. Managing the day-to-day operations of the construction site. Planning and coordinating subcontractors, trades and site resources. Ensuring construction programmes and key milestones are achieved. Maintaining high standards of workmanship and quality throughout the development. Managing site inductions, inspections and relevant site documentation. Monitoring progress and identifying potential issues before they affect programme or quality. Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers, architects, engineers and other project stakeholders. Carrying out regular quality inspections and ensuring defects are addressed promptly. Keeping accurate site records and providing regular progress updates to senior management. Leading and motivating the site team to achieve project objectives. We are looking for someone who is organised, proactive and confident managing a busy residential construction site. Previous experience as a Site Manager within house building/residential construction. A strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing and residential build processes. The ability to manage subcontractors and site teams effectively. A keen eye for quality and attention to detail. Relevant construction qualifications and a valid CSCS/SMSTS qualification.
