Wireman - NG Person ESSENTIAL Site: Dinorwig Power Station, LL55 4TY Positions: 4 Start Date: ASAP End Date: 30 October 2026 Hours: 50 hours per week - 10 hours per day Contract: Temporary IR35: Outside IR35 Pay Rates: LTD / Umbrella First 37 hours: £32.12 per hour After 37 hours / first 4 hours Saturday: £33.87 per hour After 4 hours Saturday / Sunday / Bank Holiday: £36.65 per hour Role Overview: We are looking for 3 experienced Wiremen to work on a major substation project in Dinorwig. The successful candidates will support the site electrical team with wiring and electrical installation activities, working under the direction of the Site Supervisor or Chargehand. Key Responsibilities: Carry out wiring and electrical installation activities within a substation environment Work from electrical drawings and mark up drawings where required Complete allocated task cards within the required timescales Follow all site health, safety, quality and environmental requirements Work to the instructions of the Site Supervisor, Chargehand or Work Party Leader Highlight any potential issues or delays in advance Work safely at all times and maintain a duty of care for yourself and other site personnel Complete timesheets and required documentation within the relevant deadlinesExperience Required: Electrically qualified Minimum 1 year's experience working on substation panels OR 2 years' experience working with similar equipment within: Power Generation Oil & Gas General Construction Previous experience working within a substation environment Able to read and interpret electrical drawings Experience working to high health, safety, quality and environmental standards Experience on projects involving organisations such as National Grid, SSE or SP Energy Networks would be advantageousRequired Qualifications: CSCS Card or CCNSG Safety Passport Electrical qualification NG PersonPersonal Attributes: Good interpersonal and communication skills Proactive approach to site activities Strong problem-solving ability Able to work effectively within a team or independently Positive approach to resolving issues and working with site managementTo Apply: Please send your CV along with details of your electrical qualifications and current tickets.
