We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Agent to join a leading civil engineering contractor delivering a programme of works across the AMP8 water framework in the Lake District. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in the delivery of vital water and wastewater infrastructure projects, managing site operations from planning through to completion while ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day delivery of AMP8 water and wastewater projects.
- Ensure all works are carried out in compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality standards.
- Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and plant resources.
- Monitor project programmes and drive performance against key milestones.
- Prepare and maintain site documentation, RAMS, permits and reports.
- Manage project costs, productivity and resource allocation.
- Liaise with clients, stakeholders, designers and senior management teams.
- Undertake regular site inspections, audits and progress reviews.
- Support the commercial team with variations, valuations and project forecasting.
- Ensure projects are delivered in line with contractual and client requirements.
We Are Looking For
- Previous experience working as a Site Agent within civil engineering.
- Experience delivering water, wastewater, utilities or infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of NEC contracts and project delivery processes.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and project stakeholders.
- Strong planning, organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Competent in maintaining programme, quality and commercial controls.
