We are looking for a skilled Shift Maintenance Engineer to support the safe and efficient operation of our industrial facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment during assigned shifts to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults
- Respond promptly to breakdowns to minimize production disruption
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Record maintenance activities and report recurring issues or improvement opportunities
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and reliability projects
- Work closely with production and engineering teams during shift operations
Requirements
- Degree, diploma, or technical certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent)
- Proven experience in maintenance engineering within an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of PLCs, motors, drives, pumps, conveyors, and automated systems (advantageous)
- Ability to work independently during shifts and make sound technical decisions
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, nights, and weekends
