We are looking for an ambitious, compassionate, and commercially minded Registered Manager to lead our domiciliary care service in Haywards Heath. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants more than simply managing a service. The Role:
- Leadership & Service Management: Lead the day-to-day operation of the domiciliary care service. Lead, motivate, develop, and support the office and care teams. Create a positive, accountable, and supportive working culture. Ensure excellent communication across the service. Set clear expectations and lead the team towards high standards of performance and care.
- CQC & Regulatory Compliance: Maintain full compliance with CQC Fundamental Standards, legislation, and company policies. Ensure all registration and regulatory requirements are maintained. Lead the service through CQC inspections and regulatory reviews. Develop and implement action plans where required. Ensure policies, procedures, records, and systems remain current and effective.
- Quality & Continuous Improvement: Take ownership of the quality of care delivered across the service. Complete and oversee audits, spot checks, quality assurance visits, and client reviews. Monitor outcomes and identify opportunities for improvement. Investigate complaints, incidents, and safeguarding concerns thoroughly and professionally. Drive a culture of continuous improvement and strive for outstanding outcomes.
- Client Care: Ensure clients receive comprehensive assessments and high-quality, person-centred care plans. Ensure care is delivered with dignity, respect, compassion, choice, and independence at its heart. Monitor client satisfaction and act quickly on feedback or concerns. Build strong relationships with clients, families, and professionals involved in their care.
- Recruitment & People Management: Recruit, interview, and select high-quality care professionals. Oversee staff induction, training, supervision, competency assessments, and appraisals. Maintain high standards of staff performance and conduct. Manage absence, disciplinary, and grievance processes appropriately. Ensure mandatory training and competencies remain fully up to date. Develop and retain a motivated, capable care team.
