We are working with a well-established and highly regarded rail infrastructure contractor to assist them in hiring a P-Way Manager for their growing team in Central Scotland. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Permanent Way professional to take on a key management role within a forward-thinking organisation, delivering critical rail infrastructure projects across Scotland.
Responsibilities
- Managing the safe and efficient delivery of permanent way works
- Leading, supervising, and developing P-Way teams on site
- Planning and coordinating renewals and maintenance activities
- Ensuring full compliance with Network Rail standards and HSEQ requirements
- Overseeing subcontractors, plant, materials, and resources
- Producing, reviewing, and implementing RAMS and safe systems of work
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a P-Way / Permanent Way management role
- Strong knowledge of Network Rail standards and rail safety procedures
- SMSTS and valid PTS (with relevant competencies)
- Experience managing teams, subcontractors, and site activities
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
