Overview
We are currently working with a well-established client in the shipping and logistics sector who are looking to appoint a Logistics Operator for their Glasgow office. This is a hands-on role supporting day-to-day logistics and transport operations within a busy, fast-paced environment.
The Role
The successful candidate will support the coordination of shipments and logistics activity, working closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure goods are moved efficiently and documentation is accurately maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with the planning and coordination of inbound and outbound shipments
- Liaising with hauliers, suppliers, and internal departments regarding delivery schedules
- Preparing, checking, and processing shipping and transport documentation
- Monitoring shipment progress and resolving any operational issues
- Maintaining accurate records using internal systems
