We are currently seeking an experienced Data Protection Administrator to support our clients team on a temporary basis for an initial 2-4 week assignment. This role will focus on managing a backlog of Subject Access Requests (SARs) and ensuring requests are processed accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing and managing Subject Access Requests (SARs) in line with GDPR and data protection requirements.
  • Working through an existing backlog of SAR requests.
  • Managing a shared inbox and responding to SAR-related enquiries.
  • Maintaining and updating request tracking logs and reporting tools.
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders and IT teams to gather required information.
  • Reviewing requests and advising on the information required to progress cases.
  • Supporting the end-to-end SAR process to ensure requests are completed within required timescales.

Essential Requirements

  • Previous experience processing Subject Access Requests (SARs).
  • Strong understanding of GDPR and data protection principles.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple requests and prioritise workload effectively.
  • Experience maintaining trackers and administrative records.
  • Confident communicating with stakeholders across different business areas.
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
