We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client in Stockport for an Assembly technician. This is a permanent job, working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday and paying Β£30,800 - Β£33,800 per annum, dependant on experience. There is also a significant starting bonus on offer.
Duties will include:
- Ensure assembly and build quality is of optimum standard.
- Ensure machinery is of optimum quality and working standard prior to delivery.
- Attending site for machine commissioning and breakdowns.
- Working to deadlines and delivery dates.
- Ensure production instructions and quality standards are met/exceeded.
- On-site commissioning and customer training.
You will need to be:
- Experienced in being responsible for the mechanical assembly of all sub and main assemblies.
- Able to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Able to carry out repairs, and servicing of all equipment.
- Proficient in general engineering, marking out, drilling, and tapping.
- Carry out work on-site, or off-site as requested and agreed.
