Search 5.0 is proud to partner with one of Northern Ireland’s standout success stories. As they continue scaling, we’re seeking a Software Development Team Lead with strong .NET expertise to guide and mentor a growing team of engineers while remaining hands-on with new and exciting projects.
You’ll play a pivotal role in greenfield developments – including the rebuild of a customer mobile app, AI-driven internal reporting solutions, and the integration of third-party software platforms.
The Role
- Lead a team of software developers, providing guidance, mentoring, and performance feedback
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Stay involved in development using C# and modern .NET technologies
- Oversee code reviews, promote best practices, and ensure high software quality
- Manage technical project delivery – from planning through to deployment
- Support the wider business in strategic technology decisions and systems integration
- Take ownership of development standards, Agile processes, and sprint ceremonies
- Contribute to system architecture and scalable solution design.
Technical & Leadership Requirements
- Proven experience in a Senior Developer or Team Lead role
- Strong expertise in C#, .NET, ASP.NET, Razor, Blazor, Xamarin Forms, .NET MAUI
- Solid experience with SQL Server – schema design, SQL programming, XML/JSON handling
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices
- Effective communicator, capable of aligning technical efforts with business priorities
- Track record of mentoring junior developers and fostering a collaborative team culture
- Comfortable working in hybrid/onsite teams and managing task distribution across projects
