What you will do:

  • Hire, mentor and develop a world class Engineering team.
  • Be inspired by industry best practices and drive innovation through Engineering, Architecture, DevOps and Data engineering teams.
  • Build a collaborative, transparent culture of trust where team members are empowered and inspired to do their best work and drive learning and employee advancement.
  • Work closely with cross functional teams and leaders to deliver great products.
  • Improve agile processes with your teams and enable new Development techniques to reduce complexity, improve quality and increase the velocity within the teams.
  • Assist engineers grow their careers and give them the tools to learn new techniques and technologies.

What you will need:

  • 5 plus years in a Software management role
  • Managed a minimum of 15 plus engineers
  • Comfortable leading cross-functional teams
  • Willingness to backtrack, seek multiple solutions, and experiment to validate approaches.
  • A strong background in object-oriented programming in a language such as Java, C# or C++.
  • Creative, Investigative, Innovative, Insightful, and able to make technical leaps, finding novel solutions.
