Solutions Architect - Data Modernization

What are we looking for?

Searce is looking for a Solutions Architect who is passionate about helping customers with data and analytics applications at scale. Our Data and Analytics practice team has a bunch of experienced technology consultants who’ve got there by actually building awesome architectures.

They come with technical breadth to understand the entire spectrum of infra, data and application solutions and yet don't hesitate to jump deeper and troubleshoot an error on the console. Having strong interpersonal skills, a Solutions Architect will work directly with some of our largest and fastest growing customers to enable innovation through continuous deployment of cloud native technology stacks and advanced cloud solutions.

What you'll do as a Solutions Architect with us?

  1. Create Solution architectures for Data Engineering and Analytics projects using Google native products like Pub/Sub, DataFlow, Cloud Functions, Google BigQuery, and Looker.
  2. Create Solution architectures for Data Engineering and Analytics projects using AWS products like S3, Redshift, QuickSight, and AWS SageMaker.
  3. Build high-performance, scalable architecture presentations and generate Statements of Work (SOW) for customer Data Engineering and Analytics Projects.
  4. Engage in pre-sales activities for Data Engineering projects involving IoT, Streaming Data, Unstructured Data, Structured Data, and various other data sources.
  5. Lead and participate in Analytics architecture discussions, providing technical leadership to the team.
  6. Stay updated with new architectures and emerging AWS products.
  7. Act as a Searce Cloud evangelist. Educate customers of all sizes on the value propositions of various cloud services and the benefits offered by Searce and partner OEMs.
  8. Contribute to Searce’s customer-facing publications such as whitepapers, blogs, and proofs of concept.
  9. Collaborate with the sales team to formulate and execute strategies to exceed revenue goals through the adoption of cloud platform products and services.
  10. Develop deep relationships with senior technical stakeholders within customers to enable them to become cloud advocates.
  11. Share best practices and insights within the Cloud solutions architect community.

What are the must-haves to join us?

While education is important, we focus on skills and experience. We look for at least a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, preferably complemented by an MBA.

  • A result-oriented individual, driven by passion, with the ability to explore solutions and solve complex customer problems. Effective communication of technical challenges and solutions is essential.
  • 5-9 years of experience in the Data & Analytics domain, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in solution designing, including Data Warehousing, Data Integration, Data Migration, Data Modelling, Big Data Technologies, etc.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations.
  • A consultative approach to solving customer business challenges, with a proven track record of overcoming technical and security objections. Problem-solving is in your DNA!
  • Certification in AWS or GCP Cloud products (Solutions Architect certification preferred).
