Seapeak is seeking a Marine Assurance Manager to join our Operations Team in Glasgow. In this critical role, you will support fleet operations and lead Marine, Security, and Vetting processes, ensuring that navigational, cargo, mooring, security, and vetting standards are upheld across our fleet.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as Company Security Officer (CSO/DCSO) where appointed.
- Maintain and drive fleet standards in navigation, cargo, mooring, and security.
- Engage directly with customers, including oil majors and flag states, managing assurance relationships.
- Oversee STS operations and participate in fleet audits, inspections, and vetting procedures.
- Lead investigations into marine incidents and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- Senior sailing experience (preferably on oil or gas tankers); Class 2 (unlimited) certificate of competency minimum.
- Strong knowledge of international maritime regulations and vetting processes (OCIMF SIRE).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to represent Seapeak externally.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Hybrid working β up to 2 days per week remote.
