Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive candidate to manage the sales & supply chain process, including procuring goods on behalf of customers from our factories in China. The candidate would take ownership of the sales and supply chain processes from initial order through to delivery at the customers\' premises, ensuring all documentation adheres to the Company purchasing specifications, policies and procedures.

The candidate will be able to show excellent attention to detail, work with a high level of accuracy, be organised in their approach to work and be able to work on their own initiative as well as part of a team. Good communication skills are essential.

We will consider both full-time and part-time applicants.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Order Processing & Administration

  • Manage customer orders from entry to delivery
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Prepare quotes, commercial invoices and relevant sales documentation

Supply Chain Co-ordination

  • Place orders to the Sealite factories and liaise with China team to confirm lead times
  • Track production and shipments to ensure timely delivery
  • Support inventory planning and stock level monitoring

Customer & Supplier Communication

  • Act as a point of contact for customer queries
  • Resolve delivery issues, delays or discrepancies
  • Build strong working relationships with customers, suppliers and logistics partners

Data & Reporting

  • Produce weekly/monthly sales & supply chain reports
  • Analyse order trends and stock performance
  • Support forecasting and demand planning activities

Process Improvement

  • Identify inefficiencies in sales or supply chain workflows
  • Support implementation of new systems or process enhancements

Provie a range of general office administration & other tasks to support the business

Ideal Candidate

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to work on multiple tasks at one time
  • The ability to work closely with existing and new customers to maintain trust and build relationships
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with good attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good understanding and use of MS Office – Word, Excel, Outlook in particular
  • Experience in a similar role preferred but not essential – knowledge of the import/export process is a bonus
  • Experience using SAGE beneficial but not essential

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From £26,000.00 per year
