Senior Analysis Engineer
Job Description
Responsible for the end-to-end delivery of offshore engineering analysis projects, with a strong focus on Orca Flex modelling and analysis.
The role will lead technical delivery across multiple projects while providing guidance and support to junior engineers.
- Key Requirements
- 5+ years’ relevant engineering experience, with strong proficiency in Orca Flex.
- Proven ability to deliver analysis projects from initial setup through to final reporting, managing technical quality, budgets and schedules.
- Experience reviewing models, calculations and reports and providing technical guidance to junior engineers.
- Strong understanding of offshore/subsea engineering and the ability to communicate directly with clients and lead technical discussions.
- Degree level qualification in engineering related subject (minimum)
Desirable / Bonus Experience
- Specialist experience in subsea cable and Cable Protection System (CPS) analysis.
- Broader Orca Flex experience, particularly mooring, installation or dynamic cable analysis.
- Experience with complementary analysis software such as ANSYS, Helica or Flexcom.
- Additional language skills, particularly Japanese, would be highly advantageous.
- Remote or Hybrid working with office visits to either the North East or North West
