Here at Sealey, we are seeking to recruit a Spare Parts Assistant to join our team based in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. You will join us on a permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary plus benefits.

The Company

Would you like to work for one of the UK’s leading hand, power tool, and equipment distributors? Established since 1978, Sealey are the preferred choice for the trade within the automotive, agricultural, motorcycle, industrial and engineering market sectors.

Responsibilities as our Spare Parts Assistant will include:

  • Answer calls from our Call Centre and suggest alternative parts to use for out-of-stock products
  • Creation and maintenance of the Company’s spare parts diagrams
  • Assisting with placing orders for new items, using product knowledge of similar items and liaising with our Workshop team
  • Assist with identification of un-labelled parts arriving into stock
  • Assist with resolving QC issues for spare parts, including liaising with Workshop / QC
  • General administrative work relating to the spare parts function
  • Assist with stock control and stock management when required

What we’re looking for in our Spare Parts Assistant:

  • PC Literate with good keyboard skills
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Self-motivated and the ability to work well in a team
  • Knowledge of AX, Excel and Adobe products as desirable, although full training will be given
  • Previous experience in a parts or technical role would also be an advantage
