Here at Sealey, we are seeking to recruit a Warehouse Operative (Carriers Despatch) to join our team based in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. You will join us on a permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary plus benefits.
The Company
Would you like to work for one of the UK’s leading hand, power tool, and equipment distributors? Established since 1978, Sealey are the preferred choice for the trade within the automotive, agricultural, motorcycle, industrial and engineering market sectors.
Responsibilities as our Warehouse Operative (Carriers Despatch) will include:
- Picking stock for customer orders using a ‘pick to voice’ system (full training will be given)
- Packing orders for despatch
- Loading packed consignments by hand from the conveyor into a stand trailer
- Stock housekeeping – re-locating stock, tidying picking locations etc.
Hours of work will be Monday to Friday, 12:00pm to 8:00pm.
What we’re looking for in our Warehouse Operative (Carriers Despatch):
- You must be reliable and flexible in your approach to work
- Numerate and literate, with good attention to detail
- Self-motivated with the ability to work well in small teams
- Experience is not necessary as training will be provided but willingness to learn and to work as a team
