Here at Sealey, we are seeking to recruit a Parts Office Assistant to join our team based in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. You will join us on a 3.7.5 hrs basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary plus benefits.

Responsibilities as our Parts Office Assistant will include:

  • Answer calls from Call Centre staff and suggest alternative parts to use for out of stock
  • Creation of new parts, parts list / parts drawing, including supplier information and pricing
  • Assisting with placing orders for new items, using product knowledge of similar items and liaising with workshop, based on current spare parts ordering criteria
  • Assist with identification of un-labelled parts arriving into stock
  • Assist with resolving QC issues for spare parts, including liaising with Workshop / QC and work suppliers
  • General administrative work relating to the spare parts function, i.e. updating Bill of Materials, parts diagrams, supplier parts numbers, prices, and other relevant information
  • Assist with stock control and stock management when required

What we’re looking for in our Parts Office Assistant:

  • PC Literate with good keyboard skills
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Self‑motivated and the ability to work well in a team
  • Knowledge of AX, Excel and Adobe products as desirable, although full training will be given
  • Previous experience in a parts or technical role would also be an advantage
