Responsibilities as our Parts Department Supervisor will include:
- To support the manager in the overall running of the Parts Department
- Creation of new part numbers, bill of materials and parts diagrams
- Placing new parts orders in accordance with the company policy
- Answer calls from our Call Centre and suggest alternative parts to use for out-of-stock products
- Assist with identification of un-labelled parts arriving into stock
- Assist with resolving QC issues for spare parts, including liaising with Workshop / QC
- Assist with stock control and stock management when required
What we're looking for in our Parts Department Supervisor :
- PC Literate with good keyboard skills
- Previous leadership experience
- Technical knowledge and understanding of workshop tools and machinery and their repair procedures
- Keen eye for detail
- Self-motivated and the ability to work well in a team
- Knowledge of AX, Excel and Adobe products as desirable, although full training will be given
