Full training will be provided in debt collection, customer account management, cash allocation, credit checking and more. You’ll be supported by management and a team of experienced colleagues throughout your development.
In this role, you’ll help maintain strong customer relationships while ensuring outstanding invoices are paid on time.

Responsibilities as our Junior Credit Controller will include:
- Managing a portfolio of customer accounts to ensure payments are received on time.
- Chasing overdue invoices by phone and email and resolving payment queries.
- Building strong relationships with customers and internal departments.
- Investigating and resolving disputes, invoicing issues and account queries.
- Allocating payments and maintaining accurate account records.
- Reviewing credit limits and escalating potential risks.
- Carrying out all collection activities professionally and in line with company procedures.
- Assisting with sales ledger and general administration duties.
What we’re looking for in our Junior Credit Controller:
- A strong interest in finance and credit control.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organised, self-motivated and proactive.
- Resilient and able to work under pressure.
- Good IT skills including Microsoft Office applications.
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
