As a Process Improvement Leader, you will be responsible for driving a culture of Operational Excellence by applying Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies across the plant. Acting as a Lean champion, you will implement best practices to enhance efficiency, eliminate waste, and support the journey toward World-Class Manufacturing Standards.

  • Lean Manufacturing & Process Optimization: You will implement Lean principles within manufacturing production and supply chain operations, utilizing methodologies such as Kaizen, SMED, Kanban, Value Stream Mapping, Takt Time Analysis, and 5S to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. Your hands-on experience in process improvement and data-driven problem-solving will be essential in achieving sustainable results.
  • Training & Culture Transformation: As a leader in Lean adoption, you will provide intensive training to production teams, fostering a continuous improvement mindset and driving a culture shift within the organization. Your ability to coach, facilitate, and engage employees at all levels will ensure long-term success.
  • Sustaining Lean Improvements: You will assist value streams in maintaining and continuously improving the gains achieved through Lean initiatives. By standardizing best practices and ensuring consistency in Lean applications, you will help the plant achieve operational excellence and measurable business improvements.
  • Strategic Planning & KPI Alignment: Working closely with value stream leaders, you will guide Hoshin planning and ensure all KPIs are aligned with business objectives. Your strategic planning skills and analytical mindset will be key to achieving continuous improvement and long-term success.
  • Project Management & Continuous Improvement Events: Leading Kaizen events and managing multiple projects using A3 (8D) problem-solving methodologies, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production efficiency. Your project management expertise will be crucial in implementing structured and impactful improvements.
  • Performance Reporting & Best Practice Sharing: You will develop a Lean reporting system to track project progress and financial impact, providing regular updates to management. Additionally, you will share insights and exchange best practices with Lean organizations across other company sites to ensure continuous learning and benchmarking.
Qualifications
  • Education: Degree in Chemical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering, or Robotics (highly preferred).
  • Certifications: Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma (preferred).
  • Experience: Hands-on experience in production management with Lean implementation. Proven leadership experience in driving process improvements and sustained change on the shop floor.
  • Technical Expertise: Advanced training in Lean methodologies, 5S, SMED, VSM, and Kaizen. Strong understanding of financial measurements and Lean throughput goals.
  • Project & Change Management: Skilled in project management, with the ability to lead and coach teams through Lean transformations. Experience working in matrix organizations and implementing automated processes/systems.
