Based at our Brighton site, you’ll be working to ensure the safe running of the pools and surrounding areas.

What your day will look like

- Drive Safety and Customer Satisfaction
- Ensure the pools are safe and inviting for all users through assertive lifeguarding actions
- Provide a safe environment where you administer first aid when needed.
- Encourage repeat visitor usage by providing excellent customer interaction to users.
- Monitor the pool area to ensure that it is maintained at a high level of cleanliness.
- Be the Voice of South Downs Leisure
- Deliver a friendly, motivating customer experience and make every conversation count.
- Explain Lifeguard interventions clearly and confidently so all users feel comfortable and engaged whilst using the facility.
- Build real relationships that lead to loyalty and long-term, happy members.
- Support the Team and Community
- Work closely with colleagues across the business to ensure a smooth customer journey.
- Share ideas to grow participation and promote events.
- Be ready to get involved at outreach events and in the community networking.
