About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our sales team. As an SDR, you will play a crucial role in expanding our customer base by identifying and qualifying potential leads for our solutions consultants. Your primary responsibility will be to generate and schedule high-quality discovery calls with decision-makers at biotech companies.

Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and Generate Leads: Use a combination of outbound tactics such as cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and other tools to identify and connect with potential biotech customers.
- Qualify Leads: Engage with prospects to understand their challenges, qualify their level of interest, and determine if they align with our ideal customer profile.
- Schedule Meetings: Coordinate and book discovery calls between qualified prospects and our solutions consultants.
- Maintain CRM: Accurately log all interactions, lead status, and activity in our CRM system to ensure seamless communication and follow-up.
- Collaborate with Sales Team: Work closely with solutions consultants and the broader sales team to optimize lead qualification and handoff processes.
- Achieve Targets: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for scheduled calls and qualified opportunities.
Skills and Experience
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Strong research skills to identify and understand potential customer needs and pain points.
- Experience with CRM software (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar) and sales outreach tools.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding lead generation targets.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with a desire to grow in a sales career.
- 1+ year of experience in a sales development, business development, or similar outbound sales role (experience in the biotech or software industry is a plus).
