The immense cost and complexity of GxP validation has locked the Life Sciences industry out of the modern software and AI revolution. We are building the GxP-native foundation that lowers this barrier by orders of magnitude.
But a platform alone does not change an industry. Transformation happens when software meets reality inside regulated labs, QA teams, and operations groups. This role follows the Palantir Forward Deployed Engineer model. You are the force that makes that collision productive.
This is not a general developer role. You are an engineer who ships in the field. You embed with customers, understand their systems at first principles, and turn messy, high-stakes workflows into production software on our platform. You write code in real environments. You prototype. You debug. You re-architect. You ship.
Most of our customers are in the US. You will travel. Often. You will sit on-site with regulated teams, observe how work actually happens, and translate that reality into robust, compliant systems. You are the person who turns “this is impossible in GxP” into “it’s live.”
Your work closes the loop between the world and the platform. You uncover edge cases no roadmap can predict. You pressure-test our abstractions. You surface the primitives the core platform must support next. Every hard deployment you complete makes the product stronger for every future customer.
We are a team of owners. You will not be handed tickets. You will be given missions: unlock a flagship account, prove a new workflow, make an impossible deployment succeed. Within that, you have absolute ownership over outcomes. If something is missing, you build it. If something is broken, you fix it. If something is unclear, you define it.
You must like to travel. You must like being on-site. You must be hungry. This is a role for people who want to be where the hardest problems live, who learn fastest in the real world, and who measure themselves by impact, not comfort.
The Forward Deployed Engineer is the spearhead of our mission. If the Palantir FDE model excites you and this intensity compels rather than intimidates you, you belong here.
