Seaham Hall, home to the award-winning Serenity Spa, is seeking a passionate and service-driven Spa Receptionist to join our dedicated team. This is a key front-of-house role at the heart of the guest journey, where you will create exceptional first impressions and deliver a seamless, five-star spa experience from arrival through to departure.
The Role
As Spa Receptionist, you will be the primary point of contact for our guests, ensuring every interaction is warm, professional, and personalised. You will manage bookings, support daily operations, and confidently promote our treatments and experiences.
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience in a spa, hospitality, or customer-facing role is desirable (full training provided)
- Exceptional communication and guest service skills
- Strong attention to detail with a passion for delivering 5-star experiences
- Confident using booking systems, Microsoft Office, and general computer software
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask
- Professional, well-presented, and aligned with luxury brand standards
- Flexible, reliable, and a strong team player
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver an exceptional guest journey from pre-arrival to departure
- Manage spa bookings efficiently, maximising availability and revenue
- Complete all reception administration, including guest profiles, payments, and reporting
- Maintain expert knowledge of spa treatments, packages, and promotions
- Proactively promote spa services, retail, and offers
- Conduct engaging spa tours for guests
- Handle guest queries and feedback professionally
- Liaise with other departments to ensure seamless operations
- Maintain impeccable presentation standards across reception areas
