Hours: up to 35 hours a week on a zero hour contract, including weekends & bank holidays.

We are seeking to appoint a Kitchen Porter to join our kitchen team in providing a clean and safe working environment to agreed standards within Geko.
Please note own transport is essential due to finishing time being after public transport has stopped running.

- Previous cleaning experience is desired
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Attention to detail to ensure the 5‑star standard of service is delivered
- Ability to effectively interact with management, and team members in a professional manner
- Be a team player as well as an individual worker
- To be well presented and represent a high standard of competence at all times
- Must have transport
- To control stock of all cleaning equipment and chemical products using a systematic approach
- Control stock movement and ensure stock security
- To actively promote correct usage of chemicals

- To actively promote a attitude of hygiene and methodical cleaning amongst all team members

- To avoid chemical and water wastage by following manufacturers guidelines and training
- To keep kitchens in a clean and presentable manor at all times
- Report any maintenance issues to the head chef immediately
- To follow all cleaning schedules and routines
- Use all machinery as instructed by manufacturers guidelines
