Assistant Restaurant Manager – The Dining Room

Seaham Hall’s award‑winning Dining Room is looking for a passionate, energetic, and guest‑focused Assistant Restaurant Manager to help lead our exceptional dining experience.

Location: Seaham Hall, County Durham

Resort information: https://www.seaham-hall.co.uk/

Salary: Up to £30,000 (DOE) + a share of monthly service charge, approx. 2k a year

Hours: 40+ hours including weekends & bank holidays, various shift patterns to cover breakfast through to dinner service.

  • Support the Restaurant Manager in leading and inspiring the team.
  • Oversee daily service – from breakfast through to dinner – ensuring every guest leaves with unforgettable memories.
  • Train, mentor, and motivate team members to deliver excellence.
  • Deputise for the Restaurant Manager when required.
  • Maintain smooth, professional operations across all shifts.
  • Experience in bar/restaurant management with a hands‑on approach.
  • Customer service flair – you thrive on creating unforgettable guest experiences.
  • Confidence with tech – including Microsoft systems and Micros/Simphony EPOS.
