Seagate’s Springtown facility in Derry/Londonderry, Northern Ireland is among the most advanced in the world in the design, development, and volume manufacturing of recording heads.
About the role - you will:
- Join our dynamic Process Engineering team at Seagate’s Springtown wafer manufacturing facility.
- Support advanced technology development and high-volume manufacturing for next-generation recording heads, including HAMR (Heat-Assisted Magnetic Recording) technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, optimize, and sustain processes in one or more of the following areas:
- Photolithography
- Vacuum Deposition & Etch
- Electroplating
- Chemical Mechanical Polishing (CMP)
- Metrology & Inspection
About you:
Qualifications and experience:
- Recent Graduates in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Chemistry, or related fields are encouraged to apply.
- Experienced Process Engineers with expertise in any of the listed areas will be highly valued.
- Strong background in process control, optimization, and statistical analysis.
- Candidates with optical, electronic, or photonic experience are highly encouraged to apply to meet the challenges of HAMR technology.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Your experience includes:
- Recent Graduates in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Chemistry, or related fields are encouraged to apply.
