We are seeking an enthusiastic, team‑orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Seafield Vets on a full‑time 12 month basis. Seafield Vet Group has 3 branches (Keith, Banff and Buckie) each with a comprehensive range of diagnostic and surgical tools including a full Idexx lab suite and a new and updated ultrasound allowing our team to work up cases in‑house to a high standard. Our Banff and Buckie branches both see a small animal caseload, whereas our main site at Keith is a mixed practice covering small animal, farm and equine. We have a strong small animal client base and would be happy to support our successful candidate in gaining some exposure to farm or equine cases if desired.

How You’ll Make a Difference
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high‑quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences. You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first‑opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice. This is a full‑time role working 38 hours across 4 days per week, Monday to Friday. You will also participate in a 1 in 4 Saturday rota.
General responsibilities include:
- Provide a high standard of nursing care to patients across a varied caseload, including routine, emergency, and surgical cases.
- Support veterinary surgeons with procedures, inpatient care, diagnostics, and Schedule 3 activities where appropriate.
- Run nurse consultations and clinics, delivering excellent client care and preventative healthcare advice.
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Support the development of nursing services and contribute to maintaining high clinical standards across the practice.
