The Adult Services Department at Seacoast Mental Health Center, Inc. is seeking a Clinician to join our Portsmouth based multidisciplinary team. This person will provide therapy services to adults on the ACT Team. The applicant must have a Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology and be eligible for licensure with the NH Board of Mental Health practice. Desire and ability to work in a dynamic team setting and experience with crisis intervention, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, dual diagnosis, and/or State systems preferred. This is a bargaining unit position.
Essential duties include:
- Providing solution-focused outpatient therapy to adults and participate as a member of a multi-disciplinary treatment team.
- Actively participating with the Clinical Manager and team members to establish team goals, parameters, and services which contribute to increased positive client outcomes. Therapists will also work closely with team and intra-agency staff to support the mission of the agency.
- Meeting clinical performance standards as developed by the agency. Therapist must meet or exceed productivity expectations and must complete required documentation as outlined in SMHC’s Clinical Policy and Procedure guidelines.
- Develop and utilize specific interests or skills needed by the patients served by the programs. For example, CBT, dual diagnosis treatment (Substance Abuse and Mental Illness), Dialectical Behavioral Treatment, and other areas as the need arises.
