The Impact You'll Make
As an Admissions Representative, you’ll be the welcoming voice and guiding hand for new and reapplying patients. You will gather essential information, ensure it’s accurately documented, and support the needs of the clinical staff and the center, as determined by the Administrative Operations Manager. Your attention to detail, and ability to put people at ease will directly shape how patients perceive our organization and will help them feel confident they have come to the right place.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the first point of contact for incoming calls, emails, and walk-ins, ensuring every interaction is warm, professional, and efficient.
- Meet with each new and reapplying patient to process admission paperwork.
- Review, complete, and explain required paperwork. Secure patient signatures on all necessary forms.
- Verify insurance, setting fees, explaining the patients’ financial obligations. Refer patients to our benefits specialist if appropriate.
- Data entry of all pertinent information into our Electronic Health Record.
- Responsible for sending required correspondence to all new patients, which includes intake packets and no-show letters.
- Collaborate with team members to continuously improve the intake process for speed, accuracy, and client satisfaction.
- Provide assistance to the Accounts Receivable (A/R) with collection efforts and billing inquiries.
- Follow up with clients to confirm appointments, provide updates, or request additional information.
- Provide assistance to the clinical staff as needed to obtain authorizations.
