We are looking for a Bradford Maintenance Manager to lead our site maintenance operation and play a key role in improving equipment reliability, engineering standards and overall site performance. This is a high-impact leadership role, responsible for creating a proactive, safety-first maintenance culture that supports a 24/7 manufacturing environment. You will lead, coach and develop the maintenance team, ensuring the right skills, structure and focus are in place to deliver operational objectives.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the maintenance function with clear direction, visibility and high standards
  • Developing team capability, shift coverage and leadership support across a 24/7 operation
  • Driving best practice in preventive and predictive maintenance, CMMS usage, RCA and condition monitoring
  • Improving equipment reliability, reducing unplanned downtime and supporting site performance
  • Managing engineering compliance, critical spares strategy, budgets and operational reporting
  • Supporting continuous improvement activity, capital projects and longer-term site development

We’re looking for an experienced engineering or maintenance leader with a strong track record in a manufacturing environment. You will have led teams, improved asset reliability and created a culture of accountability, safety and continuous improvement. To succeed in this role, you will bring:

  • Proven experience leading a maintenance or engineering function
  • A strong understanding of maintenance systems, engineering compliance and performance improvement
  • Experience of CMMS, preventive maintenance planning and data-led decision making
  • Practical knowledge of TPM, RCA, RCM, condition monitoring and continuous improvement tools
  • Confidence managing budgets, resources, critical spares and operational priorities
  • Ideally, a controls engineering background with experience of PLCs, fault finding, safety circuits and inverters
  • A track record of building capability and developing technical talent within a team
