SEABRIDGE® operates express groupage LTL and full load services FTL, European LTL/FTL trailer services, bulk chemical tanker service, freight forwarding worldwide, warehousing, ocean freight service, and world air freight service.

The Role:

Seabridge have a vacancy for a Transport Administrator based at our Belfast branch, reporting to the General Manager.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Proof of Delivery logging and scanning.
  • Assist as part of a team in planning and controlling UK import and export activities on a day-to-day basis, including data inputting, booking onto the Azyra freight system, and obtaining all paperwork to meet customs requirements and ensure customers' transit times are met.
  • Provide transport companies and subcontractors with the relevant and accurate information to ensure customer collection/delivery requirements are met.
  • Develop constructive relationships with key customers, understanding the clients’ business and meeting their shipping needs.
  • Identify and provide early warning to the manager on any issues or problems that could have an adverse effect on deadlines.
  • Promote and maintain image, procedures, and standards as set by management.
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of logistics documentation.
  • Maintain and update internal systems to support the movement of goods.
  • Action other ad hoc duties as requested by the manager.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Knowledge and experience in haulage and logistics procedures would be beneficial but not essential.
  • 1-2 years experience in an office administrator type role essential.
  • Able to work toward and meet deadlines.
  • Computer literate.
  • Possess team player qualities.
  • Ability to plan.
  • A proactive attitude.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • A full clean driving license is required.
