What Do We Need from You?

We are looking for a Key Account Manager to strengthen our commercial team within the Industrial Services sector. You will play a key role in hunting and developing new client relationships, managing the sales cycle from lead generation through to close, and building lasting partnerships with strategic accounts. If you have a technical background, a passion for business development, and thrive in an international environment, this role is for you.

Main Responsibilities

  • Market Research & Prospecting (approx. 30%)
    • Conduct market research to identify and qualify potential clients within the Industrial Services sector.
    • Build and nurture relationships with existing clients to access and develop new high-value prospects through direct engagement, working closely with the Marketing team to select and deploy the right tools and channels.
    • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of welding processes, materials, and machinery to engage technically with clients and prospects.
  • Sales Funnel Management (approx. 50%)
    • Progress opportunities through the full sales funnel — from initial lead to closed deal — applying best practices, compelling value propositions, and consistent follow-up.
    • Develop and present tailored proposals, negotiate terms, and secure commercial agreements that meet both client and company objectives.
    • Collaborate closely with the Professional Services and Customer Excellence teams to ensure a seamless client experience.
  • Account Development & Cross-Selling (approx. 20%)
    • Build long-term, value-driven relationships with key accounts to maximise client lifetime value.
    • Identify and develop cross-selling and upselling opportunities, working in partnership with Professional Services to generate additional revenue.
    • Report functionally to the designated Sales Director.

Who Are We Looking For?

Education
Degree in Engineering, Business Development, or a related field.

Experience
Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar commercial role.
At least 2 years' experience in the industrial sector.
Estimated adaptation period: 6 months.

Knowledge
Technical knowledge of welding (processes, materials, machinery) — essential.
Business development in an international context — essential.
Languages: English C1 or above — essential. Additional languages are a strong advantage.
