We have an exciting opportunity for a Material Handler to join our growing production team. Material Handlers receive materials and move them to the places they need to be. Material Handlers make sure materials are handled and disposed of safely. Our Material Handler will be based at our Barnstaple site. This role does require being onsite 5 days a week. The salary for this role is up to £24k, depending on experience.
- Receiving and unpacking material deliveries and extracting and loading materials for transport
- Cycle counting to ensure orders match materials received and transporting materials in a warehouse or factory, often using forklifts and other material handling equipment
- Inspecting material handling equipment and reporting any required repairs or maintenance - entering material movements in enterprise resource planning (ERP) system
- Responding to material requests from other business departments and disposing of waste materials safely and legally
