Sea View Yacht Club is seeking an exceptional sailing professional to lead one of the most established and respected sailing training operations in the United Kingdom. Reporting to the Club Secretary, the RYA & Sailing Training Principal will provide strategic and operational leadership across the Club's sailing and training activities, including RYA programmes, instructor development, water-based safety systems, training assets and educational partnerships.
This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for:
- Leading and developing the Club's sailing and training programmes
- Acting as RYA Training Principal for affiliated schemes
- Managing and developing instructors, volunteers and training staff
- Maintaining the highest standards of safety, compliance and operational delivery
- Supporting the continued growth of the Seaview Sailing Trust schools sailing programme
- Driving participation, quality and commercial sustainability across training activities
We are seeking an experienced sailing professional with strong leadership capability, a passion for participation and development, and a proven ability to manage people, programmes and operational risk.
