Sea Sure design, develop and manufacture a range of components and equipment for the leisure and commercial marine sectors. We also manufacture safety equipment components and assemblies for aerospace use. The majority of the materials used are 316 Stainless steel and aluminium.
Site and Hours
- Site: Based at our factory in Warsash (Clock Tower Works, Warsash, SO31 9GQ)
- Hours: 7:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Thursday; Β½ hour lunch; Total of 38 hours per week over 4 days; 20 days holiday plus statutory (on annualised hours basis due to the change to a 4 day week working).
Role and Responsibilities
- Production team
- Power Press work β Set & run
- Hydraulic press work β Set & run
- Milling & drilling β Preparation of components; Machine setting
- Assembly of suspension systems β Preparation of components; Assembly
- Production of seacocks β Drill components; Hand Lap major components; Assemble; Test
- Production of rudder assemblies β Preparation of components; Assembly of rudder stocks
- Welding of 316 stainless steel components β Would be an advantage
Training will be given for specific parts but it is expected that the candidate will be able to set and run a variety of production machines. The candidate must be fully understanding of operating in a safe manner in line with our strict Health & Safety policy.
