The predicted salary is between 12 - 15 £ per hour.

Support Worker staff required for Deaf and Deafblind.

Salary Range: £12.60-£14.86 per hour

Hours of work: Full time 37 hours per week. Part time will be considered. Flexible working hours to include evenings, weekends and public holidays according to the needs of the service. Sleep-in is available and paid in addition to contracted hours.

Location: North West UK

SEA Services provides specialist services to Deaf and Deafblind people. Due to rapid expansion of our services we now require Support Workers.

The role:

  • To provide care and support to clients living in their own home.
  • The role involves some personal care and also assisting with shopping, cooking, meal planning, activities and attending to day to day routines.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience as a support worker and ability to work as part of an established team.
  • NVQ Level 2 in Social Care (Training can be provided)
  • Deaf aware and a good understanding of individual communication needs.
  • Demonstrate empathy and understanding of person centred support.
  • British Sign Language Level 1 or above (Training can be provided)
