SEA Support Services is looking for a caring, patient and reliable Male Support Worker to support a 5-year-old Deaf boy living in the Preston area.

He is inquisitive, friendly and enjoys exploring and learning. He enjoys activities such as nature, books and spending time out and about.

He communicates using BSL, home signs and gestures, so a Support Worker who can communicate clearly and confidently with him is essential.

Support should focus on de-escalation and distraction, following the strategies outlined in his PBS plan.

Safety awareness is particularly important, including self-safety and awareness around colleagues and the surrounding environment.
