The Role
We’re looking for a proactive and strategic Commercial Manager to drive business growth across retail and professional trade channels. Reporting directly to the GM, this is a hands-on, varied role ideal for someone who thrives in a growing business and wants to see their work make a real impact. You’ll manage and grow relationships with our key clients and partners, oversee revenue performance, and spot new opportunities across the UK and international markets. You’ll also lead on forecasting, budgeting, and negotiating – and work closely with the marketing team to deliver cohesive commercial strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Commercial Growth & Strategy
- Develop and execute commercial strategies aligned to company growth plans
- Identify new revenue opportunities across existing and new markets
- Set sales targets and work closely with the wider team to hit or exceed them
- Own and deliver commercial KPIs across the business
- Client & Partner Management
- Build strong relationships with key retailers, distributors, and spa partners
- Act as the lead point of contact for major accounts
- Work closely with partners to support launches, campaigns and joint plans
- Manage client onboarding and ensure a high standard of service delivery
- Financial Planning & Analysis
- Manage revenue forecasts and budgeting
- Monitor performance by channel, customer and category
- Report on risks, opportunities and trends using commercial insight
- Negotiation & Contracts
- Negotiate contracts, trading terms and pricing structures
- Ensure deals are commercially sound and aligned with brand strategy
- Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Line-manage and support a team of brand ambassadors and sales professionals
- Foster strong collaboration between commercial, marketing, and operations
- Champion a high-performance and values-driven culture
Who we’re looking for
Essential:
- 6+ years in a commercial, sales or business development role
- Proven experience delivering business growth and profitability
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Excellent financial and analytical acumen
- Confident negotiator with experience securing favourable commercial terms
- Team player who enjoys working cross-functionally
- Organised, strategic and results-driven
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment

Role Details
- Location: Staplehurst, Kent (Hybrid – 3 days office / 2 days remote)

- Team: Manages Brand Ambassadors and freelance sales support
- Salary: circa £50k (depending on experience)
