As a Product Development Engineering Delivery Lead, you will be responsible for leading engineering delivery through design and development, managing the technical team involved in design, testing, commissioning, and in-service support. This role is based at our Barnstaple site with flexible working arrangements. The salary for this role is up to £72k, depending on experience.
What you’ll be doing
- Direct engineering responsibility for assigned product(s)
- Meet performance and delivery targets for Ship & Fleet Protection Systems within agreed cost, time, and quality parameters
- Collaborate with the Ship & Fleet Protection Product Technical Authority and Project Management team to define, review, and update project delivery plans
- Support engineering team members with their projects and programs related to the product
- Assist in performance reviews, prioritize issues, and manage resources effectively to maximize productivity
- Own the product program: define requirements, support lifecycle management, facilitate testing, ensure proper planning, and oversee successful delivery and integration
- Understand complex problems and develop effective solutions
