About The Role

You will assist/lead with reviewing bids across the business, working with the various bid teams, PMs and technical teams to ensure pricing for contracts has been done correctly and in accordance with company expectations. This role allows for flexible working. The salary for this role is up to £46k, depending on experience.
What you’ll be doing
- Reporting to the Senior Finance Business Partner for Business Winning
- Assist/lead with the finance elements of the bid management process, ensuring high-quality submissions, timely delivery and profitability
- Assist/lead with reviewing bids for complex proposals and help with providing technical assurance of bid costings and scope
- Assist/lead in identifying and managing key project risks and possible issues
- Assist/lead with producing financial numbers in an efficient and clear manner
- Collaborate with technical teams, project managers and Bid teams to generate creditable pricing

The skills you need
- Junior candidates studying towards a recognised accounting qualification or qualified via AAT etc (CIMA/ ACCA/ ACA) – Senior candidates must be part-qualified
- Financially astute, able to assist with defining and managing bid and project budgets, maintain profit margins and deliver returns
- Strong numerical, organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confident in prioritisation and managing concurrent workstreams
- Ability to manage own workload and work to deadlines
- Experience of the formulation of complicated bids for large and complicated projects
- Experience of full life-cycles bid and project management
- Experience of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
- Ability to work with project teams and drive deliverables in a challenging environment
