We are seeking a Commercial Officer to support and advise internal staff, customers, and subcontractors on a wide range of commercial matters across complex defence programmes.

The Commercial Officer can be based at any of our three sites: Bristol, Barnstaple, or Beckington. The role offers flexible working arrangements. The salary for this role is up to £44,000, depending on experience.

What you'll be doing

  • Identify solutions and resolve issues in diverse situations.
  • Support high-value, complex bids by providing high-integrity advice on commercial matters and risk mitigation.
  • Prepare business propositions for customer contracts, collaborating closely with project managers, internal stakeholders, and clients.
  • Develop the commercial function at SEA by improving effectiveness through teamwork with Bid and Project Managers, project teams, and personal contributions.
