Location: SEA LIFE, The Promenade, Blackpool, Lancashire, FY1 5AA

Hours: We are looking for full time, fully flexible and part time availability.

Fancy working on the famous Golden Mile on the promenade in Blackpool, where sharks and sea turtles watch on as you go about your daily work. Working here feels pretty outstanding and our Entertainments Team are fizzing with fun and a vital ingredient in the guest experience! Therefore, we’re looking for Entertainments Hosts who strive for the best, are guest focused, and not afraid to swim upstream. The main part of this role will be holding daily creature presentations and we are looking for folks that can deliver engaging talks about our beautiful creatures!

You’ll be working out on the front-line within the attraction, welcoming, greeting, interacting with, and helping our guests at every opportunity, ensuring they get the absolute most from their visit. You could also be working with school visits, self-guided tours and workshops for schools and you may also find yourself dressing up in costume or assisting the site displays team with animal feeds. Whatever the role, you will find yourself helping customers as they make their way throughout the attraction, ensuring our guests have an intimate Ocean experience. These are seasonal, fixed term positions. Contracts will run through to early November 2026. Shifts can include weekends, bank holidays and peak holiday seasons.

Please note, if successful through the screening process you will need to be available on Tuesday 19th May to attend the Assessment Centre from 6pm for approx 2.5 hours. If successful for the role, the induction will be on Sunday 24th May so please ensure you are available on these dates if you are interested in applying.

Qualifications & Experience

  • You'll have loads of experience working in a customer facing environment
  • Friendly and hardworking with a "can do" demeanour
  • Have excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Fun, dynamic, and friendly personality
  • Available to work weekends and bank holidays
