Father Christmas
Location: SEA LIFE Centre, Brindley Place, Birmingham, B1 2HL
Hours: Guaranteed 15 hours per week, 3 days out of 7

Calling Father Christmas! Yes, we said it… it won't be long until the most wonderful time of the year, and we need SANTA at SEA LIFE Birmingham to help deliver the magic.
Together with a team of elves you can help deliver an extremely magical experience to all families visiting us.
If you’re ho-ho-hoping for a part time role this winter, then look no further as we are recruiting for the jolliest role there is. Christmas is a magical time of year and Santa is at the heart of the experience. From the moment you step into the red suit you’ll be totally immersed in the experience, asking children about their wish list, and telling stories about the North Pole. You’ll certainly be asked lots of questions, and we look forward to seeing you keeping the magic of Christmas real.
We know Santa Claus is busy, but we’ll need them to be available when the contract starts from November, to 24th December 2026. Based upon 15 hours a week, working 3 days out of 7. Due to the 7-day nature of the business this will include weekends and bank holidays as and when required.
Training is provided in our stand-alone Grotto with our elves, plus we have a full Santa costume to put on. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to an audition as part of the selection process.
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience in improv or a similar role is desirable but full training will be given
- Outgoing, fun, upbeat and have a jolly demeanour
- The confidence to deliver Christmas Magic to all our visitors
