Are you looking for a job like no other? Fancy working where seals and puffins watch on as you go about your daily work as a Food & Beverage Supervisor in the beautiful Gweek, Cornwall! Working here feels pretty unique and our Food & Beverage team are fizzing with fun and a vital ingredient in the guest experience! Therefore, we’re looking for someone who strives for the best, is guest focused and isn't afraid to swim upstream. Reporting to the Commercial manager and managing a team of hosts, you’ll take the lead in delivering a world-class visitor experience for our visitors.

Working on the front line and in the thick of the action, in our Café, Hilltop Refreshments and the Kiosk food & beverage units, outstanding customer service will come naturally to you, as will the ability to lead by example whilst creating a motivational team environment. Whether you’re catering for our day visitors or events, you will be on hand to ensure guests receive outstanding service and high-quality food. You will actively seek ways to increase revenue and keep wastage to a minimum; collaborating closely with suppliers to ensure efficient stock management, mentoring staff to achieve spend targets and supporting the catering team to deliver the highest quality standards of food hygiene.

This is a full-time permanent role, working 5 days from 7 and as weekends and holiday periods are our busiest time this will include doing your fair share of weekends and bank holidays on a roster basis.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Someone with supervisory experience in a fast-paced customer facing environment
  • Proven people management and communications skills
  • Experience in cash handling
  • Experience in maximising visitor spends by upselling
