The predicted salary is between 10 - 11 £ per hour.
Based at our Hillsea site, you’ll be working to ensure the safe running of the pools and surrounding areas. We are looking for people with experience of open water lifeguarding and have a passion for health and wellbeing.
What your day will look like

- Drive Safety and Customer Satisfaction
- Ensure the pools are safe and inviting for all users through assertive lifeguarding actions.
- Provide a safe environment where you administer first aid when needed.
- Encourage repeat visitor usage by providing excellent customer interaction to users.
- Monitor the pool area to ensure that it is maintained at a high level of cleanliness.
- Deliver a friendly, motivating customer experience and make every conversation count.
- Explain Lifeguard interventions clearly and confidently so all users feel comfortable and engaged whilst using the facility.
- Build real relationships that lead to loyalty and long-term, happy members.
- Work closely with colleagues across the business to ensure a smooth customer journey.
- Share ideas to grow participation and promote events.
- Be ready to get involved at outreach events and in the community networking.

- Hours to be agreed at interview and worked over fixed rota covering 7 days per week.
- Full training and ongoing support.
- Competitive contractual pay at £10.25 - £11.49 per hour and dependant on age and experience (subject to increase if applicable).
